born trumpeter-bandleader, is claimed to be the musician's musician.
A versatile performer and perfectionist, Bob Perna has enjoyed more
than thirty years in the world of entertainment. His credits include
nationwide nightclub engagements, concerts, recordings (both personal
and backup band arrangements for vocal soloists), training films,
transcriptions for radio and television and the field of commercial
promotions.
BOB PERNA & PERSISTANCE has enjoyed successful
bookings at: Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Harrah's clubs in Lake
Tahoe and Reno, Nevada, the King's Inn in the Grand Bahama Islands,
and the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida - just to mention
a few.
BOB PERNA & PERSISTANCE has also shared billings
with: The Fifth Dimension, Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington,
Xavier Cugat, Stan Kenton, Count Basie, Frankie Beverely and Maze
along with comedians Red Foxx, Guy Marks, Alan King and Pat Cooper,
and the private victory celebration of the World Champion Chicago
Bulls.
This extremely talented entertainer and his band have enjoyed successful
engagements at Rick's Cafe American, The Forum Theater, The Ivanhoe
Theater, Park West, Arie Crown Theater, Rosemont Theater, United
Center for the Chicago Bulls and many other fine establishments
of entertainment throughout the greater Chicagoland area Cultural
Center, Jazz Fest 96', 97', Tribute to Marva Collins and special
